LX Pantos Joins UN Women’s Empowerment Principles
- Endorses the seven Principles to advance gender equality
and women’s rights
LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) has joined the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) community, reaffirming its commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive corporate culture grounded in gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The WEPs are designed to help companies advance gender equality and promote women’s rights in the workplace, marketplace, and community. Since its establishment, over 12,000 companies worldwide, including more than 100 in Korea, have joined the initiative.
The WEPs comprise seven Principles: establish high-level corporate leadership for gender equality; treat all women and men fairly at work and respect and support human rights and non-discrimination; ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all women and men workers; promote education, training, and professional development for women; implement enterprise development, supply chain, and marketing practices that empower women; promote equality through community initiatives and advocacy; and measure and publicly report on progress to achieve gender equality.
LX Pantos has continued to strengthen its management framework in line with global ESG standards, including through its membership in the UNGC, and remains committed to building an inclusive and equitable workplace.
