Cooperation Awards

culture with no labor disputes for nearly 50 years

Junior Board
- “We will continue to strengthen an advanced labor-management
culture built on mutual respect and communication.”
LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) has won the Grand Prize in the large enterprise category at the Korea Labor-Management Cooperation Awards for its achievements in building a cooperative labor-management culture grounded in mutual trust and communication.
On May 14, 2026, LX Pantos announced it had received the honor at the 38th Korea Labor-Management Cooperation Awards, which were held at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The ceremony was attended by key officials, including Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Young-hoon; Chairman of the Economic, Social, and Labor Council Kim Ji-hyung; Chairman of the Korea Enterprises Federation (KEF) Sohn Kyung-shik; and Chairman of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions Kim Dong-myung. LX Pantos was represented by CEO Lee Yong-ho, employee representative Park Cha-jun, and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO) Kim Sung-wook.
Hosted by the KEF, the Korea Labor-Management Cooperation Awards recognize companies that have established exemplary labor-management cultures and contributed to national economic development through labor-management cooperation. Since the launch of these awards in 1989, they have honored companies on an annual basis for best practices in cooperative labor-management relations.
LX Pantos was honored this year for maintaining stable labor-management relations without any labor disputes or strikes for nearly 50 years since the company’s founding in 1977. Today, LX Pantos has a standardized framework for integrating employee feedback into its management through a range of communication channels, including the Labor-Management Council, where employee representatives and management meet regularly; the Junior Board, led by younger employees; and the Occupational Health and Safety Committee. These efforts have helped LX Pantos build a cooperative labor-management culture focused on preventing conflicts at the source rather than responding to them after the fact.
The company also received positive recognition for continuously expanding a communication-driven organizational culture by strengthening trust and solidarity among employees through regular town hall meetings, executive dialogue sessions, and Family Day events. Its sustainability practices, including maternity protection programs, initiatives to promote the employment of persons with disabilities, and social contribution activities, were also favorably evaluated.
Upon receiving the award, Lee Yong-ho, CEO of LX Pantos, remarked, “This award is especially meaningful because it recognizes the collective commitment of all LX Pantos employees to building a cooperative labor-management culture. We will continue to foster a healthy organizational culture grounded in mutual trust and open communication, while advancing our journey toward sustainable growth.”
