Pantos Ventures into Global E-commerce Logistics

with Cutting-Edge Solutions

 - The only Korean logistics company capable of cross-border fulfillment (CBF) services based on 360 global hubs

- Recently launched an integrated system exclusively for e-commerce, enhancing customer convenience and productivity

- Differentiating itself from existing companies while securing large clients such as HYBE and Estée Lauder from the early stages of business

- Increased activities supporting the overseas expansion and business growth of domestic small and medium-sized online sellers

Pantos is making its full-fledged entry into the global e-commerce logistics sector in a strategic move to tap into the rapidly growing market.

The company recently unveiled its own e-commerce (EC) integrated management system, which will streamline the operations and enhance the productivity of e-commerce businesses.

Pantos’s innovative EC Integrated Management System offers a comprehensive global one-stop solution designed exclusively for e-commerce enterprises. The revolutionary system enhances operational efficiency and productivity by automating the massive, simple, and repetitive manual tasks that have historically hindered the business expansion and profitability of e-commerce companies.

Key features of the system include unprecedented visibility by integrating the complexity of the entire process, from order aggregation of numerous domestic and international sales channels that encompass major shopping malls, open markets, and proprietary online stores, to inventory management, settlement, customer service management, and last-mile delivery.

As a result, Pantos’s client companies can focus solely on their core areas of business: product development and marketing.

Along with the EC Integrated Management System launch, Pantos is leveraging the 360-hub global network it has secured through 44 years in the international logistics business to provide competitive cross-order fulfillment (CBF) services, a logistics consolidation service targeting global markets. Notably, Pantos stands out as the sole Korean logistics company capable of offering this service.

Client companies without an overseas base can use Pantos’s 360-hub global network, logistics center infrastructure, and integrated management system to conduct online sales activities seamlessly as they do in the domestic market. More conveniently, they can also benefit from complete visibility in all aspects of their online sales, including orders, warehouse flow (in and out), inventory status, and customer service, just like they do in the domestic market.

With this differentiated service competitiveness, Pantos has aggressively expanded its customer base in the e-commerce sector and has already secured numerous large clients despite being in the early stage of CBF business, with new e-commerce client orders exceeding an impressive KRW 250 billion in 2020.

In particular, Pantos recently signed a global integrated logistics service contract with HYBE—the Korea-headquartered multinational entertainment conglomerate—successfully opening hub logistics centers in the U.S., Japan, and Korea.

Additionally, the recently opened Pantos Fulfillment Center in Incheon Cheongra has become a bustling hub for domestic fulfillment services of myriad products, as well as overseas shipping services for official merchandise of K-pop artists and various other products to over 200 countries worldwide.

The company has also solidified its position in the beauty and fashion segment, securing contracts with renowned brands such as StyleNanda (L’Oréal Group), Estée Lauder, and April Skin.

In order to take advantage of the rapid growth of the domestic and international e-commerce market, e-commerce companies are making an all-out effort to enhance their logistics competitiveness. Amid this fierce competition, Pantos’s entry is expected to cause a notable shift in the landscape. Specifically, strong synergies are anticipated with small and medium-sized e-commerce players without a logistics network/system.

Pantos plans to further solidify its market presence by transitioning its EC Integrated Management System into a platform in the latter half of 2021. The platform will support the overseas expansion and business growth of Korea’s small- and medium-sized online sellers while serving as a stepping stone for the company to raise its market share in the global e-commerce market.

An official from Pantos expressed confidence in their role as a stalwart supporter of their clients’ global business expansion, stating, “Our e-commerce customer-optimized Integrated Management System and distinct global competitiveness make us a reliable partner supporting our clients’ global business expansion.”
