Pantos Logistics wins 2009 Incheon Logistics Development Award

- Credited for contributing to galvanization of Incheon International Airport
and development into logistics hub -

Pantos Logistics (CEO Yeo Sung-koo), Korea’s largest general logistics company, won a special prize at the “2009 Incheon Logistics Development Award” from Incheon Metropolitan City on December 3.

Pantos won the prize as it was credited by Incheon City for making contributions to galvanizing Incheon International Airport and its development into a hub since the company launched a logistics center at the airport in 2005. Pantos has been stepping up efforts to expand logistics and freight volumes at the airport by attracting cargo planes of Sea & Air from China since 2004. It also made significant contributions to the qualitative improvement of freight services at the airport and boosted the logistics competitiveness of freight owners by developing the supply visibility system, ‘Global Single Window,’ and adopting it to logistics services. Moreover, Pantos expanded business for expediting the opening of new freight routes by foreign airline companies, thus making important contributions to Incheon International Airport’s rise to a hub of Northeast Asia.

The Incheon Logistics Development Award,” which was established by the city in 2005, has honored with prizes companies and individuals who made contributions to the development of its logistics industry every year.
