Pantos Logistics Makes List of 100 Best Firms
in Shanghai Free Trade Zone

- Only Korean firm in list, company wins honor for 6 consecutive years -

Pantos Logistics (Yeo Sung-koo, CEO), Korea's largest logistics company, said on April 21 that it made the 2009 list of the 100 best companies in the Shanghai free trade zone, China.

The 100 best companies in Shanghai free trade zone for 2009 includes 20 logistics companies, including Schenker and Danzas of Germany, and KWE of Japan, and 80 trading and manufacturing companies. Pantos Logistics is the only Korean company that is found in the list of not only the 20 logistics firms but also that of the 80 manufacturing companies. As a result, Pantos Logistics made the achievement of being enlisted as the best foreign invested companies for 2004 and 2005, and the best companies during 2006-2009, thus clinching the honor for six consecutive years.

Pantos Logistics acquired certificate of Grade A company from the Shanghai Customs Office in 2008, and was the only Korean firm to make the list of "operation-focused companies (13 firms in total)," which is a program specifically for assisting logistics firms at the Shanghai free trade zone, as it has consolidated its position as a leading global enterprise that operates in China.

Pantos Logistics, which marks 12th anniversary this year since its advance into China, operates three business divisions for northern China, central China, and south China. It also has a own network in more than 30 cities, including Shanghai, Tianjin, and Qingdao, and carries out comprehensive logistics business encompassing air, railroad, port and marine transport, customs clearance, hub, warehousing for domestic supply, and warehouse operation.
