- To product and distribute of safety training videos; summer heat illness prevention support across logistics sites

- Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office to provide OHS consulting and co-develop safety campaign content

LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office to promote industrial accident prevention and foster a safety-first culture in the logistics industry. The agreement marks the first official partnership between a government agency and a private company focused on safety in home appliance installations.

The signing ceremony took place on July 21 at the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office in Jung-gu, Seoul, with LX Pantos CEO Lee Yong-ho and Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office Director Kwon Tae-sung in attendance. A safety equipment demonstration and seminar followed the ceremony, showcasing the protective gear designed to prevent fall accidents during outdoor air conditioning unit installations.

The MOU aims to prevent occupational accidents across logistics sites, including home appliance installations, while promoting occupational health and safety practices among LX Pantos’s SME partners.

Under the agreement, LX Pantos is producing a safety training video focused on AC unit installation and will distribute it to industry stakeholders and installation technicians. The company will also provide its partner firms with heat illness prevention supplies during the summer, including industrial fans, cooling vests and sleeves, and electrolyte supplements. Additionally, LX Pantos will run year-round safety campaigns via 138 digital signage displays installed across its logistics centers nationwide.

For its part, the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office will support the initiative by offering consulting services on worksite safety protocols and co-developing safety campaign content, including PR visual images and messaging to raise public awareness of safety practices for frontline logistics workers.

Commenting on this new partnership, LX Pantos CEO Lee Yong-ho said, “LX Pantos has implemented a company-wide OHS management system and is committed to ensuring safe working conditions. Through this partnership, we intend to lead by example and help drive a broader culture of safety across the logistics sector.”
