Certified Green Logistics Company
On January 27, Pantos was awarded the “2018 Green Logistics Company Certification” by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT). The certification program was created by the MOLIT to encourage green logistics activities across the industry. The certification is awarded to logistics and shipping companies that have outstanding track record in reduction of logistics energy and greenhouse gases.
The criteria for certification are △ energy management in logistics facilities and transportation △ environmentally friendly business plans and performance and △ analysis and reporting of environmentally friendly logistics activities.
Jang Ryul Park of the Quality Innovation Team stated, “We will contribute to protecting the environment by being more proactive in green logistics initiatives, and furthermore, work to strengthen our trade competitiveness and the image of our country by providing improved brand image and engaging in sustainable management.”
