Pantos Logistics opens Ssangyong Motor European Parts Logistics Center in the Netherlands
Pantos Logistics, the largest freight logistics business in South Korea, recently announced the opening of its Ssangyong Motor European Parts Logistics Center (SEPC) in the Netherlands.
The SEPC, located in Breda near Rotterdam Port, will serve as a logistics center supplying Ssangyong with vehicle parts throughout Europe. Its 9,424㎡ warehouse stores 470,000 parts (15,000 different components).
Pantos Logistics plans to focus on enhancing the operational efficiency of the center, using a differentiated inland transportation/express airfreight service based on its own logistics network in Europe, to promptly supply parts throughout Europe.
To that end, the Company has established a warehouse management system (WMS) designed for efficient, integrated management of inventories and orders and a PDA-based management system for inventory information and onsite works.
Currently, Ssangyong Motor supplies automotive parts to 27 European countries, including Spain, Italy, and France.
