Pantos Ships Relief Goods to Typhoon Victims in the Philippines
Pantos shipped relief goods including medical supplies and added support to the Korean relief group to the Philippines as part of the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), the Ministry of National Defense (Air Force), the Ministry of Health and Welfare, National Emergency Management Agency, the National 119 Rescue Services, and National Medical Center. Among the organizations in the effort, Pantos was the only private company as the logistics service provider for KDRT (Korea Disaster Relief Team).
Pantos took charge of the storage of goods, packing, inland transport at Incheon Airport and Seongnam Air Base, and shipping by civil aircraft; its Philippine branch provided support to the Air Force in Cebu regarding military aircraft maintenance, guide and support for KDRT staff, and purchase of relief goods such as refrigerators and oxygen tanks.
