LX Pantos Certified as a Win-Win Academy
- Supports job-specific training for SME partners through the LMD/Installation Academy
- Leverages 20 years of operational expertise as a national hub for home appliance installation training
LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) announced that its in-house training institution for home appliance installation personnel—the LX Pantos LMD/Installation Academy—has been selected by Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) as an official operator of the Academy for Win-Win Growth Between Large and Small Enterprises.
The program, jointly run by the MOEL and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, enables large corporations to provide high-quality training programs for employees of their SME partners, while receiving government support for program development and operations.
LX Pantos earned high marks across all evaluation criteria, including program content and infrastructure suitability, securing its designation as an official academy operator.
Established in 2004, the LX Pantos LMD/Installation Academy operates a 660 m² training center in LG Digital Park and fosters more than 7,000 installation professionals annually.
*LMD(Last-mile delivery): The final step of the delivery process where goods are transported to end users.
The Academy features role-play classrooms that replicate real-world home environments and offers 24 hands-on, customizable training programs that simulate the varying complexities of installing products such as TVs, washing machines, and air conditioners. These capabilities position the Academy as a national training hub for skilled home appliance installers.
LX Pantos will officially launch its Academy for Win-Win Growth-Home Appliance Installation Specialist program in May. The program is fully subsidized by the government, allowing participants to attend at no cost, and is open to anyone interested in pursuing a career in appliance installation.
Commenting on the program, an LX Pantos spokesperson said, “This initiative will help alleviate the staffing challenges faced by our SME partners. We aim to lead the way in building a cooperative training ecosystem that aligns with our ESG management values.”
