LX Pantos: First Korean Logistics Firm

to Attain TISAX Certification

- Obtaining top-level AL3 certification in meeting VDAs stringent security standards

               - Enhancing its competitive edge in the global automotive electronics logistics sector

On March 12, 2024, LX Pantos (CEO: Lee Yong-ho) announced its successful acquisition of the TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange), becoming the first Korean logistics provider to receive the prestigious global information security certification from the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).

LX Pantos earned the highest TISAX evaluation level, AL3, for its top-tier security control capabilities on its three premises, including its logistics centers in Wroclaw and Mlawa, Poland, as well as its headquarters in Seoul.

TISAX is a highly esteemed global information security certification overseen by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) to support cross-company recognition of information security assessments in the automotive industry. Based on the principles of the ISO/IEC 27001 from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), TISAX requirements encompass four systems: information security, security on the supply chain, data protection, and prototype protection.

In an era of future mobility, which is marked by the rise of electric vehicles, connected cars, and autonomous driving, the automotive industry increasingly relies on various software technologies, underscoring the significance of robust information security. This trend is particularly pronounced among global automakers, particularly in Europe, who now demand stringent security protocols when selecting suppliers and partners.

Against this backdrop, LX Pantos stands out as the sole logistics company in Korea to secure TISAX certification. With this milestone, the company not only bolsters its competitiveness in the global automotive logistics sector but also amplifies customer confidence in its security controls.

Commenting on this significant achievement, an LX Pantos official remarked, “Stringent information security control is crucial in logistics, given our routine handling of sensitive client data. With this TISAX certification, our demonstrated prowess in information security control will catalyze our commitment to expand further into the global logistics market, particularly in Europe.”
